Koolflo phase change
interface material
Phase change thermal interface material for optimum heat transfer at the heatsink/ component interface.
Kool Flo is a thermally conductive "phase-change" interface material, designed as an easy to use replacement for thermal grease. It is a dry film that, with light mounting pressure and a temperature of 50°C, softens allowing it to fill the microscopic irregularities that exist between components and their heatsinks. Thus giving a "grease like" interface, without the time consuming, messy handling procedures associated with grease.
Kool Flo is ideal for applications were only low mounting pressures exist and electrical isolation is not required such as microprocessors and clip mount insulated power devices.

The Gali family of MMIC amplifiers gives you a wide choice of gain ranging from 10.5 to 22.9dB (typ), up to 18.2dBm (typ) output power, and has low thermal resistance for high reliability in your DC to 8GHz designs.
Exceptionally low in cost, these broadband amplifiers are available for 35mA to 70mA bias current requirements and are housed in a miniature SOT-89 surface mount package, ideal for today's compact PCS, communication receiver/transmitter, and cellular designs. See our web site for available designer's kits.

LOW INTERMODULATION 7/16 MALE PLUG
|
A new 7/16 male plug for .141" and .250" semi-rigid cable, which has a one piece centre contact that is easy to assemble and conforms to DIN 47223, is being introduced by Tru-Connector.
The 7/16 Male Plug for .141" and .250" semi-rigid cable has a direct solder, one-piece centre contact and soldered outer jacket to simplify assembly and features < -155 dBc intermodulation. Providing dielectric withstanding voltage of 4,000 VRMS and 50 Ohms impedance, this 7/16 connector is designed for dc to 6 GHz operation at -65°C to +165°C.
Easy to assemble by pushing the semi-rigid cable through the back of the connector and then soldering the centre conductor, away from the body for easy access without heat, the 7/16 Male Plug's mating dimensions conform to DIN 47223. It has a brass body, with silver or TruLustre plating, a beryllium-copper contact and Teflon insulators.

| KPS kool pads for rf |
|
Thermally conductive insulators with integral RF shield for use with HF switching transistors. Features include:
Thermal resistance 0.76, 0.80 or 1.10ºC/W
Breakdown voltage 2000V
Temperature range -60 to +180ºC
Thickness 0.18 or 0.49mm
Dielectric constant 2.2, 2.7 and 2.9 at 1000Hz
Kool Pad Shielding Insulators are designed for use under high frequency switching transistors and other semiconductor modules and packages where undesirable electromagnetic interference is being generated.
Constructed from two layers of Kool-Pads thermally conductive material and one layer of copper foil, the lamination is bonded and provided with a pre-tinned solder point for connection to negative H.T. Thermally conductive compound is not normally required. Constructed from flame retardant materials. Collector-heatsink capacitive coupling when using normal insulators can create unwanted radio frequency currents.
By connecting the kool pad shield solder point to emitter most interfering currents remain in the primary circuit and are prevented from flowing into the mains via the heatsink earth line.
